With over forty years of experience playing the guitar, Ed Hull has earned his place in the music industry, most recently breaking onto the scene as one of the most important and innovative singer/songwriters of our era. In the past few years alone, he has written over eighty original songs, fully produced in albums like “Another Choice” (released December 2010) and “Hawksbill Crossing” (released November, 2011). In December, 2011 Ed recorded nine new songs in Nashville utilizing a local recording studio and musicians. These nine songs together with the 28 that are on Ed’s first two albums are being marketed to the Nashville recording industry and other outlets such as the movie and TV markets. His recently formed band, “Hawksbill Crossing,” which you can learn more about by clicking on the link below, plays music that incorporates a wide variety of contemporary musical styles, including rock, folk rock, alt country, and contemporary folk intermixed with music that blends and transcends multiple genres within a single song. “Hawksbill Crossing” plays songs written by Ed Hull exclusively. |

It began with a threat. When Ed was only twelve, his older brother insisted to his parents that he’d “kill himself” if he was forced to take one more music lesson. The guitar was passed down to the younger sibling, and one brother’s willing loss was another brother’s grateful gain. Ed’s lifelong passion was born, but it wouldn’t launch into a full-blown musical career for some number of years.
